Weekly strength training in pre-season phases.Friendly games will be organized on weekends from October through April (minimum 2 per month in the off-season).Training every weeknight after school - 90 minutes (beginning in October).Our formula to producing top players is simple: train with the best players, under the best coaching, more often than any other club in the region, while competing at the highest levels in the province. Training sessions and curriculum are designed and run by professional staff coaches (UEFA and CSA licensed coaches), augmented by each team’s Academy coach. A 6th session each week, dedicated to strength and conditioning, is also encouraged for Elite Academy players, especialy at U15 and older. Players finish training by 5:30 each weeknight, and have the remainder of their day for homework, family life, and other extra-curriculars. Teams train after school every week night, with inter-squad, full-field sessions, friendlies and league play on weekends. Ottawa TFC's year-round Elite Academy, is the first program in Ottawa to provide a European-calibre academy training environment for serious youth players looking to play at the next level.
